Dr. Jorge Paricio
is a Full Time faculty in the Interior Design Department at The Art
Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division where he has taught since 2006.
He has specialized in teaching rendering both using digital and freehand
techniques and has more than fifteen years of teaching experience.
He is also a visiting lecturer at the Rhode Island School of Design
(RISD) and in the past he has also taught at Pratt Institute, Parsons
School of Design, The Art Institute of Colorado in Denver and the
Istituto
Europeo di Design.
Dr. Paricio has also worked as a product, exhibit, furniture and
packaging designer for large and small companies in the US and in
Europe.
He holds a PhD degree in Fine Arts, a Master's Degree in Industrial Design and a Bachelor's Degree
in Fine Arts. He is a member of the Interior Design Education Council
(IDEC), the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) and the National
Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). He is an avid drawer and
is passionate about rendering, painting and drawing.
